The Social Mission of the Two-Year College
In the age of the corporate university, and with colleges run on a “business model,” what is the social mission of a two-year college? Should faculty work with or against the “business model” of education? What implications does this model have for our students? Presentations on these or other views of the social mission of the two-year college requested. Please submit abstracts by March 15, 2007 to Dr. Amy Vondrak, amy_vondrak_at_yahoo.com.
