Special Session CFP: Strategies for Teaching First-Year Writing

This panel is interested in presenting new or alternative approaches to teaching freshman composition. Papers may be concerned with alternative syllabi, assignments, in-class activities or other items that relate to teaching freshman composition. Preference will be given to those papers with praxis that is approachable and easy for others to reproduce. Please send 250-word abstracts with name, email address, phone number, mailing address and institutional affiliation to Cara Minardi, Georgia State University, Department of English, P.O.
