We invite papers on pedagogy for the 39th annual meeting of the CEA. The primary conference
theme for 2008 is â€œPassagesâ€â€"pioneering thresholds of which the Gateway Arch in St. Louis is
symbolic, but also rites of passage, heroic quests, mythic journeys, transitional moments,
migrations, travel literature, fantastic trips, and explorations in literature and film.
Proposals should be submitted via the online database at http://english.ttu.edu/cea/conftool by
November 1st, 2007.
When you submit your proposal, you may use a pull-down menu to indicate your topic. Indicate

All presenters must become members of the College English Association by January 1, 2008. For
