CFP: [Renaissance] 16th-century British literature; Nov. 1, 2007; CEA March 27-29, 2008

We invite papers on the theme of â€œPassagesâ€ in 16th-century British
literature for the 39th annual meeting of the CEA. Although all papers on
this general theme will be considered, papers on the literary journeys
taken by characters from mythology and from British folklore, as they pass
from the antique world to the 1500s, are of special interest.
Proposals should be submitted via the online database at
http://english.ttu.edu/cea/conftool by November 1st, 2007.
When you submit your proposal, you may use a pull-down menu to indicate
your topic. Indicate at that pull-down menu that your submission should be
directed to me, Kerri L. Tom, chair of the 16th c. British Literature panels.
To preserve time for discussion, CEA limits presentations to 15 minutes.
