The 2008 Knoxville Writers Guild Anthology
Theme: Fences and Frontiers

“a landscape of the mind in which the movement in physical space
corresponds to a movement in consciousness.”
--Leo Marx as quoted by Annette Kolodny in The Lay of the Land

The Knoxville Writers Guild seeks creative works in which writers and
artists with a link to East Tennessee negotiate inner/outer borders and
spaces, their own fences and frontiers, connecting us to their landscapesâ€"
mental, spiritual, and physical. We welcome writing and art that employ
both innovative and traditional forms, and we have a particular interest
in work containing eco-conscious subject matter.
