Papers are sought for a volume on Harold Pinter's The Dumbwaiter to be
edited by Mary Brewer. This collection forms part of a new series -
Dialogue - under the general editorship of Michael J. Meyer of DePaul
University Chicago, which is to be published by Rodopi of Amsterdam and
New York. Expected date of publication for this volume: 2009.

The Dialogue series will offer new and experienced scholars the
opportunity to=20
present alternative readings and approaches to classic texts that have=20
received canonical acceptance in either American or Continental
Literature.=20

*Emerging scholars* will be defined by the following criteria:=20

MA ABD or recent PHD, Instructor, Lecturer or Assistant Professor
status,=20
publications limited to articles in journals and monographs and/or
chapter=20
studies; individuals who have 6 years or less from the awarding of a=20
doctoral degree.=20

*Experienced scholars* will demonstrate the following:=20

Teach at the Associate Professor level or above, have at least 7 years
experience from the awarding of the PHD, be published in book length
studies, and/or be considered to be an authority or well-known
commentator on the title or=20
author.=20

The editor will select 6 essays from each category and provide
controversial issues within the text to create a dialogue between
writers.
