The Spanish Graduate Students Committee of the Department of Romance
Languages and Literatures at the University of Chicago is honored to
announce that Roberto Gonzalez Echevarria, Sterling Professor of Hispanic
and Comparative Literature at Yale University, has accepted our invitation
to be the keynote speaker in our coming conference "(De/Re)Constructed
Identities in Iberian and Luso-Hispanic Literatures," to be held on October
5-6, 2007 in Chicago, Illinois.
