CFP: Space, Travel, and Identity (10/1/04; journal issue)full name / name of organization: phillips contact email: phillips@nccu.edu.tw ****************************************************************** CALL FOR PAPERS Taiwan Journal of English Literature announces an open call for papers for the first theme issue of the journal to be published in the Fall. The theme is Space, Travel, and Identity. Taiwan Journal of English Literature is a literary journal jointly published by the Department of English, National Chengchi University, and Crane Publishing. Two issues per volume are published annually. The journal provides a forum for the discussion of English literature and invites contributions in all areas of British, American, and other English literary and cultural studies. Formal book reviews and informal book announcements are also welcome. The language of publication is English. Submissions are accepted throughout the year, but please note the deadline for submissions is October 1, 2004 for the Fall Theme issue (submissions are considered as they are received so earlier acceptances are encouraged). E-mail submissions are accepted at tjel_at_nccu.edu.tw; hardcopy submissions should be sent, in triplicate and a soft copy on disk, to: Editors, Taiwan Journal of English Literature Include a cover page with your submission containing Your Name, Academic Post and Rank, University Affiliation, Address, Email, Telephone, and a copy of the abstract for the paper. The text of your paper should not have any identifying features. Both Word (6.0 or above) and PDF files are acceptable. A paper should not exceed 30 pages single-spaced. Manuscripts will be sent to two reviewers immediately. The author(s) of each paper will receive five copies of the journal issue when the paper is published. 1.
