The Margaret Atwood Society is soliciting paper proposals for its two
MLA sessions (in Philadelphia).
1. Performing Atwood
Papers that consider performances of Margaret Atwood's work, including
opera, film, staged readings, and plays. 500-word abstracts by March 1
to both Jennifer Hoofard, jhoofard_at_mills.edu, and Tomoko Kuribayashi,
2. Myth and Atwood
Intertextual uses of myth and allusion in any genre of Margaret Atwood's
work. Papers that consider recent works are particularly encouraged.
