on the Short Stories of Virginia Woolf

to appear at Presses Universitaires d'Angers in 2008

In an attempt to reassess Virginia Woolf's short stories, the Journal of =
the Short Story in English (JSSE) invites contributions on all aspects =
of her short fiction. Submissions that examine individual short stories =
or thematically or chronologically grouped ones are encouraged. The aim =
of this special issue is to provide a multiplicity of critical =
approaches to reading Woolf's short stories and to assess Woolf's =
achievement as a short story writer.

Contributors should submit a 400-word proposal for an article by April =
30, 2007. Submissions are to be sent electronically to the guest editor, =
Prof. Christine Reynier, at the following address:=20

Upon acceptance the author should be prepared to submit his/her article =
of up to 5,000 words, a 150-word abstract, and a short contributor's =
note in Microsoft Word Format by December 2007. Manuscripts must be =
submitted in duplicate. Documentation should conform to the endnote =
style of the MLA Style Manual. All pages must be numbered.=20
