CFP: [20th] Short Story Nov. 1, 2007; CEA March 27-29, 2008

CEA invites proposals for individual papers or panels of 3-4 presenters
for the 39th annual meeting of the CEA on any aspect of the short story--
North or South American, European, colonial, postcolonial, etc. Studies
of individual authors and/or stories are also welcome. Presentations on
short stories of any period are welcome. Proposals should be submitted
via the online database at <http://english.ttu.edu/cea/conftool> by Nov.
1, 2007. The theme of the conference is "Passages."
     Propsals may also be submitted in hard copy but only to Marnina
Favila, CEA Program Chair, English Dept., James Madison University, MSC
1801, Harrisonburg, VA 22807.
     To preserve time for discussion, CEA limits presentations to 15
minutes each.
     All presenters must be or become members of the College English
Association by January 1, 2008. For membership information contact Joe
