CALL for PRESENTATIONS: Mid-Atlantic College Student Literary Magazine Conference 2009

Following the success of our inaugural conference last year, the Mid-Atlantic College Student Literary Magazine Conference co-chairs are issuing a Call for Presentations for the October 9, 2009, conference to be held at Ocean County College, Toms River, NJ

This student-centered conference for college student literary magazine editors, writers, artists, and their faculty advisors is geared toward collaborative presentations involving students and faculty. Presentations may focus on any aspect of student literary magazines and may address but are not limited to:
-innovative student-faculty collaborations in and beyond the classroom
-financing student magazines
-online magazines
- developing and promoting magazines
-editorial process / editorial boards
-alternatiive expressions (e.g. CDs, podcasts, My Space Music Pages/MP3 tracks, etc)
-collaborations of student magazines w/ other departments, clubs, organizations
-graphic design and layout

Please send proposal abstracts of 250-300 words, including title of presentation, names of presenters, email addresses for all presenters, and college affiliation. Indicate student or faculty status, along w/ brief credentials for each presenter. Preference will be given to proposals in which students are the primary presenters.
