Food and Culture CFPfull name / name of organization: Southwest/ Texas Pop Culture Association/ American Culture Association contact email: williamL@purdue.edu Food and Culture Conference Hotel: The Food and Culture Area of the Southwest/ Texas Popular and American Culture Association invites panels and papers for their annual conference at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque, February 10-13. Please submit abstracts and proposed panels by October 1, 2009. Possible topics include, but are not limited to: Cooking/eating and Identity Scholars, graduate students, foodies and others interested in the intersection of food and culture are encouraged to submit. Graduate students have the opportunity to submit their work for best graduate paper awards. If you wish to form your own food and culture-oriented panel, please contact me with information on your panel topic and a list of participants.
