Since the publication of Elbow's article, how has the relationship between Composition and Literary Studies changed? What challenges remain to inhibit their alliance? This roundtable will explore these, and related questions such as: What type of connection should exist between the fields of Literature and Composition Studies? How might the two become more mutually enhancing? And, how are current economic concerns changing the prominence of, and relationship between, Composition and Literature? Please send abstracts of 200-400 words and one page CV to Grace Wetzel at wetzelg@mailbox.sc.edu by September 30, 2009.
