The general topic for the presentations is “Multi-Cultural Voices in Literature and the Arts of the 1920’s.” Scholarly research and presentations are invited that cover a wide area of interest, including but not limited to the following: The Harlem Renaissance Specific areas of interest include literature and culture, women’s studies, drama, music, art, song, painting, historical viewpoints, political economics, and politics. Abstracts of 300 words or less are requested. Texas Southern is located at 3100 Cleburne, Houston, Texas 77004.
