Short essays (2,000-3,000 words) are sought on the subject of Teaching the Novel and Short Fiction. Accepted submissions will be published in the Spring 2010 issue of Academic Exchange Quarterly, a print and electronic academic journal. Particularly welcome are essays that present innovative pedagogical strategies for using fiction in the classroom (whether in literature, creative writing, or an entirely different discipline).

All submissions are subject to double-blind review. As the feature editor for this cluster of essays, I am happy to answer any questions that you may have and to assist as you make the final preparations for submission.
