The Mystery/Detective Fiction section of the Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association invites proposals for the 2010 conference in Albuquerque.  The exact days/times of our panels are yet to be determined, but the conference is always held Wed.-Sat. in mid February.

We invite proposals on any topic involving Detective/Mystery fiction.  However, we especially invite proposals on authors who write in less commonly spoken languages; proposals dealing with female, minority, and GLTB authors; and proposals which analyze literature and/or film from different literary standpoints (feminist, psychoanalytical, Marxist, etc.).  In other words, Detective/Mystery fiction is more than Sherlock Holmes.
