Modernism and Utopia: Convergences in the Arts

The Call for Papers has now CLOSED.
The aim of the conference is to encourage debate between and across disciplines with a focus on the varied historical, cultural, technological, and intellectual settings in which the modernism/utopia nexus might be clarified and explained.
The conference will be held in Birmingham, England, April 23rd – 24th 2010, and is being organized by James Barnett, Alice Reeve-Tucker, and Nathan Waddell. Postgraduates are highly encouraged to attend.
