Cross Disciplinary Consortium Call for Papers - hosted at the University of Colorado Boulder on April 15-16, 2010
The Cross-Disciplinary Consortium, an academic conference presented by the University of Colorado Humanities Club for the benefit of the University, the Boulder community, and the scholarly community at large, is pleased to invite you to submit your paper for presentation at the 2010 conference and for publication in the accompanying Consortium Journal. The conference is scheduled for April 15th and 16th of 2010.
The primary purpose of the conference is to highlight student and professional work that brings different scholarly approaches together, showcasing the work of new voices in multidisciplinary discourse. We are also honored to host keynote speaker Susan Bernstein, a professor of Comparative Literature and German Studies at Brown University. We are accepting undergraduate, graduate, and faculty or independent papers, and will give priority to topics that incorporate a discussion of at least two of the following six fields:
Comparative Literature and the Humanities
Literature in English
Art and/or Art History
All topics welcome. Please e-mail the paper and a 300-word abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org with the words "Conference Submission" in the subject. As all papers accepted for presentation at the conference will also be published in the Consortium Journal, we ask that you not submit papers that have already been published or that you plan to publish elsewhere. Attendance at the conference is not required for publication in the journal. We have extended our deadline for submission to March 1, 2010.
