The Gender Studies Area of the Midwest Popular Culture and Midwest American Culture Association is now accepting proposals for its upcoming Conference in October.

The MPCA/MACA conference will be held in Minneapolis, MN from 1-3 October, 2010.

Proposals will be accepted from any area relating to gender studies in popular culture. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
• Gender construction, performativity, and/or representation
• Women’s Studies
• Masculinity Studies
• Gender
• Intersextionality
