CFP: New German Reiview (v. 25)
Celebrating 25 years in academic publishing, New German Review has been a medium for graduate students, post-docs, and junior faculty to share their ideas with the academic community worldwide.
New German Review encourages contributions within the broader field of German Studies, including literature, history, culture, philosophy, and linguistics.
Book reviews and interviews also form an essential part of our publication.
New German Review is peer-reviewed and edited by graduate students in the Department of Germanic Languages at UCLA. As a supplement to the traditional bound volumes, each issue beginning with Volume 25 is available in print-on-demand and published in the University of California's eScholarship Repository web resource. All contributions will also be listed in the MLA database.
Submission deadline: April 20, 2010
Submissions must adhere to the following:
*MLA conventions, including the use of footnotes and works cited page
*Quotations should be in German
*150-word abstracts accompany articles
*Articles between 15 and 25 pages; book reviews not to exceed 4 pages
*All submissions double-spaced with 12pt font
Authors are invited to email manuscripts prepared for blind review to NGR@humnet.ucla.edu. Please write author's name and title of article/book review in the Subject line.
