Representation is a concept whose meaning is often taken for granted or codified in advance by a given system of thought in a wide array of disciplines, perspectives, and methodologies. We would like to ask again: what is representation? We are interested in theoretical approaches to representation that address questions of aesthetics and/or politics as well as the intersections of these discourses, concerns, or models. We are open to a wide range of mediums, methods, and theoretical perspectives. Please send a 250 word abstract, with bio, to brian.price@okstate.edu.
