James Prosek, fisherman, wildlife painter, essayist, and environmental activist, is the author of The Complete Angler: A Connecticut Yankee Follows in the Footsteps
of Walton, Fly Fishing along the 41st Parallel: From Connecticut to Mongolia and Home Again, and Trout: An Illustrated History among a number of additional
nonfiction works. The New York Times proclaimed him to be the “Audobon of the fishing world,” and he collaborated on the Emmy and George Foster Peabody
Award-winning film adaptation of The Complete Angler, which aired on ESPN.
