CCCC Panel - Genre Theory and Activity Systems
Activity systems and genre theory are increasing being used as tools to study various communication acts and to create new and exciting pedagogical practices.
As such, I'm hoping to put together a CCCC panel that uses genre and/or activity theory to analyze/critique/question a specific discursive artifact in our field, to forward a pedagogical method, to analyze a specific communicative event, etc.
I'm open to other suggestions for this panel, as it should allow for a fairly broad discussion.
Please email me your abstract by April 30 if you are interested in joining this panel. Proposals should be no more than 250 words.
