Essays for a book-length collection on Rachel Carson's Silent Spring
Essays are sought for a book-length collection on Rachel Carson's highly influential work Silent Spring, which will turn 50 in 2012.
The publisher is secured, and the volume is planned to appear late in 2012. A list of potential topics is available from the editor. New and experienced scholars are equally encouraged to contribute to the volume, whether they be professors, activists, and/or scientists. Essays in the volume should be written for an educated, general audience.
