New Approaches to Daniel Defoe (Essay Collection)

AMS Press has commissioned a volume of essays tentatively entitled New Approaches to Daniel Defoe. A number of essays have already been selected for inclusion in the volume. However, the editors are looking for additional essays to fill out the collection. They are interested in essays that consider new approaches to Defoe in general as well as new and distinct close readings of his works. The editors invite scholars to submit by e-mail a 250-500 word abstract setting out the argument of a proposed essay, along with a brief Curriculum Vitae, to Dr. Kit Kincade, Associate Professor, Department of English, Indiana State University, kit.kincade@indstate.edu on or before 31 August 2010.
