South Asia, specifically India and Pakistan, have been the subject of international interest in the last decade or so. Mostly in a negative light, South Asia is generally viewed as a poor region with little more than mysticism, terrorism, and disease. There is, however, another side to the matter which the rest of the world knows little about. South Asia has produced some of the most successful business ventures in the world, and in difficult circumstances at that. Not only can these companies and their founders teach the world-at-large about running a business in adverse circumstances, but also show a lighter, more practical face of South Asia.

Overall Objective of the Book
In the fields of entrepreneurship, technology management, business administration, etc., there exists a need for an edited collection of articles from South Asia. The book aims to provide knowledge and information about both successful business and entrepreneurs in the region. It is written for students and professionals who want to improve their understanding of the strategic role of businesses and the methods of their founders, including networks and organizations, teams and work groups, information systems and, finally, trust at the level of individuals as actors in the networked environments.

Target Audience
Students, professionals and researchers working in the field of information and knowledge management in various disciplines, e.g. entrepreneurship, information and communication sciences, administrative sciences and management, education, adult education, sociology, computer science, information technology. Moreover, the book will provide insights and support executives concerned with the management of expertise, knowledge, information and organizational development in different types of work communities and environments.
