Germano-Slavica: A Canadian Journal of Literary, Linguistic and Cultural Perspectives invites submissions of articles for the present volume, Volume 17, and upcoming volumes.

For over thirty years Germano-Slavica has maintained a dual area focus, unique in North America, on Germanic and Slavic literatures, languages and cultures. Our goal is to include both articles that explore the intersections, cross-connections, and frictions between Slavic and Germanic cultures; and articles focussing individually on a single area, either Germanic or Slavic, in any historical period and in any cultural field, including literature, linguistics, music, film, history and politics. Both interdisciplinary and cross-national approaches are encouraged.

All submissions to Germano-Slavica are subject to an anonymous peer-review process; at least two referees are selected from the international academic community. Submitted manuscripts should not bear the author's name or other identifying information, nor should they be under consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission.
