CU-Boulder Asian Studies Graduate Association Annual Conference, February 18-20, 2011full name / name of organization: CU-Boulder Asian Studies Graduate Association contact email: cubasga@gmail.com The University of Colorado at Boulder Asian Studies Graduate Association is now welcoming submissions of 250-word paper abstracts for its annual conference, to be held on February 18-20, 2011. CU-Boulder’s Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations is home to graduate and undergraduate programs in Chinese and Japanese, as well as a number of more recently added undergraduate programs in Arabic, Farsi, Hindi/Urdu, Indonesian, and Korean. This conference aims to bring together graduate students focusing on these and other Asian countries to share and discuss their work with other graduate students in related fields. We invite papers from across the humanities disciplines including literature, linguistics, pedagogy, and history, as well as geography, film, art, and music. Interdisciplinary approaches from scholars working in the fields of science, political science, sociology, and economics are also welcome. Abstracts and inquiries should be sent to cubasga@gmail.com by December 1, 2010.
