Coinciding with the 85th anniversary of the founding of San Antonio College in 1925, this year’s conference will emphasize developments over the past 85 years, as played out in culture, the arts, politics, demographics, business, education, international relations, the military and the economy.
This year’s conference will be dedicated to Professor Juan Bruce-Novoa, who was one of the founders of the conference and who passed away in June 2010. Papers concerning his work are also solicited.
Those wishing to present should submit via email a paper title and a 100-150 word abstract outlin-ing the proposed topic and a brief 5-7 biography of your professional background. Specify the mode of presentation. Individuals interested in reading creative works should submit brief sam-ples of their work. Completed manuscripts are due in March and should not exceed 10 double-spaced pages of typescript. Papers may be considered for the conference journal Voices. (Individual submissions only.)
