UPDATE: UCA's Fifth Annual English Graduate Conference on Literaturefull name / name of organization: Mary Ruth Marotte, Graduate Director, University of Central Arkansas contact email: mrmarotte@uca.edu Call for Papers Shakespeare: April 14-15, 2011 When Ben Jonson wrote that William Shakespeare was “not of an age, but for all time,” he could not have realized the full impact of his words. Nearly 400 years after his death, the bard still mesmerizes us. We invite papers on any aspect of Shakespearean studies. Though the conference theme centers on Shakespeare, we also welcome submissions on any topic related to all genres of literature, theory, culture, and film, as well as creative submissions of poetry, fiction, and drama. 250-word abstracts and/or panel proposals must be emailed by March 15, 2010 to net06001@uca.edu with “Conference Submission” in the subject line.
