We are looking to add three to six panels or round-tables. This conference will host a mix of academics, creative artists, and public intellectuals for a series of panels on media, the archive, film, literature, creative writing, and popular music. We welcome papers and panels from a wide variety of disciplinary perspectives and methodologies. Paper abstracts should be 250 words and include a CV. Proposals for panels should be 100 words on the topic with abstracts for each paper and include a title and a brief CV for each presenter. Please submit proposals electronically by January 1, 2011 to Anna Dubenko at anna.dubenko@yale.edu. We will notify accepted panelists no later than February 15th. Panelists must register by March 1, 2011. There will be a sliding scale in registration fees: $150 or $200 depending on the panelist's access to funding.
