Fitzgerald - OPEN - ALA 2011
The F. Scott Fitzgerald Society (http://www.fscottfitzgeraldsociety.org/ ) invites proposals for papers to be presented at the 2011 American Literature Association in Boston, MA, 26-29 May.
The F. Scott Fitzgerald Society invites proposals for papers examining any aspect of Fitzgerald's life and work that provides fresh insights. Of particular interest might be work focusing on Fitzgerald in the classroom or Fitzgerald and the literature of hard times, particularly as reflected in the connections to be drawn between the author's post-1920s work and the contemporary era.
Send 250-word abstract for a twenty-minute presentation, along with a brief CV, to Maggie Gordon Froehlich at email@example.com by January 14, 2011. Please title your subject line ALA Proposal with your last name and include in your message your preferred e-mail address along with any AV equipment needs.
The American Literature Association's 22nd annual conference will meet at the Westin Copley Place in Boston on May 26-29, 2011 (Thursday through Sunday of Memorial Day weekend).
