THATCamp, The Humanities And Technology Camp, is a free, open, interdisciplinary "unconference" where humanists and technologists meet to work together for the common good. Applications are continually being accepted for different THATCamps being held all across the United States, Europe, and Australia: see http://thatcamp.org for the current list.

Many THATCamps also offer free workshops in digital skills that can help further the study of the humanities, skills such as website development, text encoding, data visualization and mapping, and introductory programming. Through the generosity of the Mellon Foundation and the Kress Foundation, $500 (USD) fellowships are available to academics in all humanities fields and to art museum professionals for the purpose of defraying travel costs to a THATCamp where such "BootCamp" workshops are held. Graduate students are particularly encouraged to apply. Read more and apply at http://thatcamp.org/fellowships.
