Call for Asbtracts
International event on Health, Well-being and Educational Success of children and young people in the school setting
The consortium of Journées annuelles de santé publique (JASP) and the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) join forces and are holding a meeting around health promoting schools on November 28th – 29th, 2011 in Montréal, Québec, Canada.
All decision makers and stakeholders involved in the success, health and well-being of children and young people in school settings are invited to submit a proposal to contribute to a rich and diverse programming.
The international scientific committee is looking for presentations, posters and interactive workshops. It is concerned with addressing the challenges posed by the implementation of comprehensive approaches to developing effective, equitable and sustainable actions that promote health, well-being and optimal learning of children and young people.
Abstract submission closes on March 25th, 2011. Complete information and form to fill are available on the JASP website www.inspq.qc.ca/jasp.
Result of a collaboration between the JASP and the IUHPE, the event is co-chaired by the Institut national de santé publique du Québec, the Canadian Association for School Health and the International School Health Network. This event follows two major international events and wishes to continue pushing the thinking for children and young people to learn better, feel better and become engaged citizens in their community.
