Looking for any proposal on travel and literature, particularly papers dealing with the element of desire in the drive to travel. What lusts, needs, and/or desires fuel the travel we see depicted in literature? What do literature’s characters show us about what lies at the heart of travel? Hybrid essays are welcomed.
This years PAMLA will be held at Scripps College in Claremont, California from November 5-6.
