The editors of Kansas English invite you to submit your work to our journal, which is published by the Kansas Association of Teachers of English. We have identified one focus theme for this issue—struggling students and struggling teachers – but we encourage a wide range of submissions.
We publish manuscripts that contribute to understanding and scholarship in all areas of English/Language Arts, including curriculum design, pedagogy, classroom action research, literature reviews, reading and writing connections, audience, motivation, engagement, collaboration, assessment, technology, critical thinking, discourse, rhetoric, multiculturalism, community-classroom connections, policy, and reflection.
Nontraditional, creative pieces (such as personal narratives and poetry) are also encouraged.
