Textbooks and New Media
This panel examines textbooks in first-year composition and their changes due to new media challenges. We are looking for papers that explore how the textbook has changed, new versions of textbooks that are online, the challenges involved in teaching writing online/with new media, suggestions for new media-minded textbooks, or other areas directly related to this call. Essentially, we are looking at how the idea of the textbook must change and adapt if we are to responsibly write and teach writing in the digital age.
