This panel seeks papers on the narrative fiction of Spanish women writers during the late nineteenth to early twentieth century (1880-1936). Papers should focus on the way in which women authors represented marriage, motherhood and/or modern society, given the growing influence of feminism and the women's movement. Please send a 200-300 word abstract, in English or Spanish, to Rebecca Bender (firstname.lastname@example.org) by September 30, 2011.
