This panel, which will present at the Northeast Modern Language Association Convention to be held in Rochester, New York on March 15 - 18, 2012, explores Blake's contradictory depictions of the body in his texts and images, finding new ways to explore the wide range of figurations pertaining to the senses and to foster inquiry of concepts crucial to the analysis of Blake's time, including identity, gender, sexuality, and aesthetics.
