This conference addresses the legacy of Greece and Rome in the literary arts from Classical Antiquity to Early Modernity. Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in Departments of Classics, Comparative Literature, Italian, French, Spanish, German, English, and Philosophy, among others, are invited to submit abstracts of up to 250 words for papers of approximately twenty minutes to email@example.com by November 1, 2011. Abstracts should be formatted as either Word or PDF documents and should include departmental and institutional affiliation.
