The general topic for the presentations is “Asian & African Diaspora Literature, History, and Arts.” Scholarly research and presentations are invited that cover a wide area of interest, including but not limited to the following: Specific areas of interest include literature and culture, women’s studies, the Internet, drama, music, art, song, painting, historical viewpoints, political economics, and politics. Abstracts of 300 words or less are requested by February 4, 2012. Texas Southern is located at 3100 Cleburne, Houston, Texas 77004.
