Call for Presenters: Collaborative Student Learning Workshopfull name / name of organization: Plymouth State University Medieval & Renaissance Forum contact email: forrest.helvie@att.net This teachers' workshop will focus on collaborative, student-driven learning and ways that we can get the students in our classes connected with one another to improve their learning experiences. We encourage proposals that make use of medieval and/or Renaissance texts as the focal point of the lessons presented. In place of "papers" to present, we are looking to solicit 3 or 4 mini-teaching demonstrations where presenters would provide a 10-15 minute mini-lesson on one collaborative learning approach that audience members and other participants could take back to use in their own classrooms. Additionally, these lesson plans may be considered for publication in the Forum journal or The Once and Future Classroom. If you are interested in submitting a lesson proposal, please send them to Forrest Helvie at forrest.helvie@att.net before January 16th, 2012.
