Atlantic Studies (Routledge)--Appointment of New Editors

The Routledge periodical Atlantic Studies wishes to recruit a new team of editors. Atlantic Studies is a multi-disciplinary quarterly that publishes cutting edge research in literature, history, and cultural studies. It publishes 25 articles per annum and has widespread library and individual subscriptions. The journal examines the Atlantic as a conceptual, historical, and cultural space.

Most of the current editors are stepping down in December 2013. We seek three new and vibrant editors (in the fields of history and literary/cultural studies) to take the journal forward from Volume 11. New scholarly directions are welcome, particularly toward studying the Atlantic with global perspectives. The editorial role is remunerated by Routledge. The journal's website is located at:

Please direct letters of interest and CVs by March 31 to Dr. Richard Follett and Dr. Dorothea Fischer Hornung.

Sincerely and on behalf of the editors of Atlantic Studies

Dorothea Fischer Hornung, University of Heidelberg, Germany
