Children in Text, Person and Theory

Our workshop aims to examine methodological approaches utilized in the study and construction of children and childhood. We welcome researchers (graduate, postdoc, early - late career) who engage with this growing field from a transnational perspective, find links between disciplinary discourses and challenge existing scholarship on minors. The workshop will consist of 20-min presentations on current projects followed by group discussion. In a collaborative atmosphere to asking creative research questions, building new knowledge and addressing methodological queries, participants will come away with a greater array of analytical tools for their own research.
