Edinburgh Critical Studies in Shakespeare, Theory, and Performance aims to reshape disciplinary boundaries by bringing together two traditionally distinct pursuits – theoretical inquiry and performance – in the study of Shakespeare. Embracing a variety of topics, from philosophy and theater to politics and aesthetics, the series values creative modes of engagement and insists on genuine originality. This series of scholarly monographs will reinvigorate Shakespeare studies by opening new conversations among scholars, theater professionals and students.
