Shakespeare Readings, a biannual international conference co-sponsored by the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Moscow University for the Humanities, is now accepting proposals for presentation at this year’s meeting. This year’s theme of “Shakespeare in National Cultures,” invites considerations of any of the following topics, broadly defined:

- Shakespeare in production
- Shakespeare in translation
- literary criticism and studies
- artistic perception
- teaching and pedagogy

Please submit a 250-300 word abstract and a brief CV by May 15, 2012 to Nikolai Zakharov, nikoltine@yandex.ru.
