The Art History and Visual Culture Area of The Midwest Popular Culture and Midwest American Culture Association is now accepting proposals for its upcoming Conference in October.

Proposals will be accepted from any area relating to art history and visual culture. Potential topics could include, but are not limited to:
• Museum Studies
• Representations of artists in film and/or literature
• Illustrated texts
• Single-artist studies
• Visual Advertisements

Please send 250 word abstract proposals on any aspect of art history and visual culture to Cortney Barko, West Virginia University Institute of Technology,
cortneybarko@gmail.com

Please include name, affiliation, and e-mail address with the 250 word abstract. Also, please indicate in your email whether your presentation will require a TV and DVD player. Note that LCD projectors will not be provided by MPCA/ACA.
