The Hare, an online journal of brief essays and untimely reviews in early modern literature, is officially on-line. The inaugural issue can be read at:

We seek short essays on all topics related to early modern literature--poetry, prose, and drama.

We also seek reviews of "old"--classic, foundational, seminal, unjustly forgotten, etc.--books.

The Hare is a peer-reviewed academic journal and does not accept concurrent submissions. Authors should expect the peer review process to take about two months.
