The Politics of Fantasy in XX-XXI Century Latin American/Peninsular Literature and Cultural Studiesfull name / name of organization: South Atlantic Modern Language Association(SAMLA) contact email: mcalatayud@northgeorgia.edu Phallogocentric discourse minimizes imagination, confabulation and fantasy as a matter for women and children, but fantasy is powerful, liberating and, therefore, dangerous to those who fear change.
